  • My go to place & my hubby since 2014 for any dental work. I am always treated with the utmost respect and the staff are always very friendly fast & efficient specially Ashley & newly hired Cara (the Admin ladies)- who took time to look into my file called my insurance provider and explained to me all the details I inquired about prior to my visit. Dr.Peterson & Dr.Gee are gentle & amazing. I’ve had helped by Chantelle Bobbie Laurie & recently Sheena. They all make me feel really comfortable and to be less jumpy during visits. Very professional service. I would highly recommend South 40! Thank you very much for being great & no unexpected billing like the other dental place around this town.

  • 😎OUT WITH THE OLD & IN WITH NEW😎 I've had many visits to South 40 but this time was pretty stressful. I was getting a partial denture which had me a bit nervous. I had 3 broken upper teeth pulled; then was fitted with my new partial denture. The staff was very calming and talked me through every step. (I even took a selfie during the process!) This visit was amazing! Update: I usually have a few days of pain and complications after extractions. This time I have had zero pain from the extractions. (I imagine because my new teeth covered everything so it is healing without being disturbed.) 👍🏻🦷Highly recommend South 40🦷👍🏻

  • Thank you South 40! I had great experience getting a crown. The dental assistant Kelsie is awesome!! I actually request her as the assistant I want when I go to South 40. Her bedside manner is always wonderful but her skill in making and inserting your temporary crown is like no other. I no issues with my temporary crown or my bite. Yesterday I had my temporary crown removed and the permanent crown installed and it went so smooth no issues at all. Dentist Jason came and checked everything and I was in and out super fast. Thank you South 40!!

  • Fantastic people to deal with. The whole team from Reception to Dentist was inviting relaxed and a very pleasant experience overall. There was some miscommunication regarding fees that was a bit of a shock at first but when they explained that they quoted high for lab fees rather than not high enough you are more prepared. A lower bill at the end of the process is much nicer to see rather than the other way around. My daughter recommended South 40 Dental and I'm so glad I listened.

  • I absolutely love this place for my young children and myself. We had a previous dentist who was also great but South 40 and their staff make it so welcoming for my littles and for me who has a past of strongly disliking a dentist. 110% would recommend them! We have switched over completely for them solely on the fact that my children and I are so comfortable in their atmosphere. They are thorough about recommended treatments no grey areas.

  • I had a consult appointment to determine if I'm a good candidate for an implant that I need. Dr. Jason Lee and his assistant were both very kind and answered my questions. Although the Dentist looks very young I feel confident that the procedure will be done correctly as he has recent training and he has done them previously. I have been going to South40 for quite a few years now and I have always had a good experience!

  • I have been coming to this dental office since it opened.Ive had a lot of ups and some downs but I keep coming back.why? Because staff old/ new have been gentle kind and accommodating whenever needed.Thank you south 40 dental for a stress free experience. To all the new staff / dentists i have recently met thank you for your great work and showing compassion while sitting in the dental chair.

  • Have been using S40 Dental for about six years now since I first moved to Grande Prairie. Always get great communication and a friendly reception from the staff and have no cause for complaints for any of the work that I’ve had done by the folks here. Facility is clean kept in clean condition and tools and equipment are at the forefront of the industry. Highly recommended.

  • I had an awesome experience at South 40 Dental in Grande Prairie. I had an appointment with sedation and the staff kept me as comfortable as could be. Normally I have high anxiety at the dentist but it was very mild during this visit. I was given a blanket lights were dimmed and a movie was on during my visit. Would definitely recommend them for any work you need done! :)

  • Great place to go for all your dental needs . Office staff is great and easy to deal with . They try hard to accommodate your appointments with your busy lifestyle . Jason has been the dentist i see and hes very knowledgeable kind spoken and makes you feel at ease…. They always have a spot for you in case of a dental emergency.     Dr. Nianmei Chen, born and raised in Fuzhou, Fujian, China, is a dedicated General Dentist. After completing her studies, she became a licensed General Dentist in 2002 and went on to specialize in orthodontics in 2007, also in China.

    With a strong commitment to her profession, she has honed her skills and developed a passion for helping individuals achieve healthier and more confident smiles. In 2012, Dr. Chen and her family moved to Canada in search of new opportunities and experiences. Two years later, they relocated to Grande Prairie, where she continues to provide exceptional dental and orthodontic care to her patients.

    Dr. Chen is fluent in both English and Mandarin, which allows her to connect with a diverse range of patients and ensure that they feel comfortable and understood during their visits. Outside of her professional life, Dr. Chen enjoys a variety of hobbies. In her free time, she loves singing, reading, and cherishing moments with her family.

    Dr. Jacob Park earned his dental degree from University of British Columbia in 2020 with honours. He enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, including restorative work, endodontics, extractions, and implants.

    Dr. Park takes a patient-first approach by listening carefully, explaining treatment clearly, and striving to make every visit as stress-free as possible. He is passionate about giving back and has participated in dental mission trips with the Christian Dental Society, providing care to underserved communities in Treasure Beach, Jamaica.

    Outside of dentistry, he enjoys staying active with golf and pickleball, and keeping fit at the gym.

    Dr. Ricky Park was born in Seoul, South Korea, and immigrated to Canada at the age of four. He was raised in Surrey, British Columbia, and went on to attend the University of British Columbia, where he earned both his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degrees. Following the completion of his studies, Dr. Park moved to Grande Prairie, where he is proud to serve the vibrant northern community.

    Dr. Park discovered his passion for dentistry through its unique blend of science and artistry, allowing him to help patients achieve confident, healthy smiles. He is committed to creating a comfortable and positive experience for every patient, taking the time to listen carefully to their concerns and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their individual needs.

    Dedicated to staying at the forefront of modern dentistry, Dr. Park regularly participates in continuing education courses and seminars. He has received additional training in Botox treatments and Invisalign, expanding the range of care he is able to offer his patients. Outside the clinic, Dr. Park enjoys spending quality time with family and friends. His hobbies include playing board games, watching movies, and relaxing with a good book. He also maintains an active lifestyle through working out, snowboarding, and golfing.
